Teras - Voln Masters Hall

Postby Geijon » Tue Dec 28, 2010 4:58 pm

This place is always a pain to find and remember. It has no marking or directional indicated for the room. It's located in the Temple near the Bank through the Gate.

[Temple, Hall of Gods]
Elaborate tapestries line this looming hall, depicting the gods in all their glory. Highly polished marble forms the walls and floors, and elegant hand woven rugs stretch the length of the hall. Solemn travelers shuffle past to enter the chapels of their various chosen gods, incense and offerings in hand.

[Temple, Eonak's Chapel]
A brilliant golden glaes altar dominates this great chapel, shining brightly beneath several flickering torches. A low murmur of prayer and quiet conversation flows throughout the room. Dwarves of all classes file past the altar, leaving gifts and offerings to Eonak. A flowing gold silk tapestry decorates the wall behind the altar.

[Temple, Meditation Sanctum]
The silent simplicity of this small room brings contemplative thoughts to mind. Several small mats cover the polished wood floors and two worn oak benches sit empty along the wall. A modest rosewood altar stands at one end of the room, topped with two white candles. A gentle breeze wafts from a hallway of gleaming white marble leading to the east.

[Masters' Sanctum]
Rich tapestries in crimson and gold velvet hang from the white marble walls. A gentle breeze from the west stirs the flames in the gold and brass sconces set along the walls, providing a dim, dancing light. A statue in black glaes is set against the eastern wall, holding a softly glowing silver globe in his outstretched hands.

>touch globe
You reach out and touch the globe.
The globe hums and spins around quickly.
You try to count the number of spins and figure it was at least 100 revolutions.
>look stat
This statue is of black glaes, with veins of sparkling white. It depicts a young man, handsome of face but grim of aspect. Clad in chainmail, a massive bastard sword is strapped across his back. His eyes are closed, and he holds a silver globe in his hands.

I should pay more attention. I didn't even know there was a Master's Hall on Teras, let alone where it was. Thanks, Geijon :)
