Zizzle Guildmaster nomination...

This was about a month ago, after waiting nearly 2 months (and 2 failed attempts) to gather enough Guildmasters at one time for the ceremony.

[Wizard Guild, Master Office]
Open windows let in faint moon and starlight along with an occasional cool night breeze. The sparsely furnished room only has a few comfortable chairs and a big heavy desk. A mithril chandelier that glows brightly without any sign of flame provides more than enough light along with the large fireplace. One large plush carpet covers the flagstone floor from wall to wall. You also see an orange-eyed ginger cat, Guild Master Keplar and a mithril-bound door.

A lightning wyrdling darts in.

The ginger cat cleans his coat carefully.

Keplar bows slightly to you. "Guild Master Keplar," he says, "at your service. If you need anything of me, just ASK."
Sagoth nominates you for the office of Guild Master.

You ask Keplar about becoming a Guild Master.

Keplar says, "So you like the looks of my glamorous job, eh?" Keplar chuckles. "First you need to master one skill with a total of 125 skill ranks, and get five other guild members who have a minimum of 125 ranks themselves to act as witnesses and to nominate you for the position. Then a Guild Master can do the promoting if he's not busy being a witness."

Keplar smiles and continues, "I can do the promotion part, but I can't nominate you."
Wizricky glances around the room.
>'erm
You say, "Erm."
Keplar moves out of Wizricky's way and glances at him.
Saazz is no longer protected by the shimmering field of energy.
>ask Keplar about guildmaster
You ask Keplar about getting promoted to Guild Master.

Keplar completes the promotion ritual and says, "Congratulations, Zizzle, for achieving Guild Master status! We trust you'll serve your guild well."
Sagoth applauds.
>'aha!
You exclaim, "Aha!"
Wizricky applauds you.
>beam
You beam!
Saazz says, "Ya."
Arlia applauds you.
>howl
You throw your head back and howl!

Congratulations Zizzle !!

What an amazing accomplishment. Possibly the true right of passage nowadays is as you mentioned, getting the other Masters assembled for that nomination. Definately an excersize in patience and creativity.

Does your Guild allow for double rep benefits once you obtain Guild Master status?

Admittedly, I have no concept of how the Weezards Guild works, let alone what some of your tasks would be.

The drudgery of sweeping dirt, washing windows and smooshing garlic was humbling, but not for me for I am a humble soul.

Well, I also lurv the smell of garlic!

Well since there are no partner reps I am going to have to say that no to the double reps. However we are still suppose to get like 3 more Guild skills RSN
